For ex: Rocket Man, Rhapsody, The Bodyguard, etc…for me, it’s Crazy Heart starring Jeff Bridges….total fiction, but man he killed that role.

Rockstar. The music in the movie is perfect. Crossroads with Ralph Macchio is another one I like a lot. Jack Butler cutting heads.

Rocket Man.
Not 100% accurate but pretty entertaining.

The Doors
I didn't like them when I was younger but after seeing Oliver Stone's movie I gained a HUGE appreciation for how great their music is.

probably "Walk Hard" or "Weird"
Granted, the "Bill & Ted" series was great, "School of Rock" is fantastic as is "Tenacious D & the Pick of Destiny", "Scott Pilgrim vs The World" is a classic, and "The Rocker" is really underrated.

This is a very interesting question.
Does Head count? If it doesn't, take a head count.
You have all the classical biopics ("Oh look, here comes Beethoven with another symphony!") & backstage musicals of the '40s & '50s, but I can't think of one I'd choose as the all time best.
The Buddy Holly Story set the template for rock biopics, both in style and its numerous factual errors.
Rip Torn played a country singer in Payday (loosely based on Hank W.) which is kinda choppy as a film but has some memorable moments.
In the 70s there was a biopic of Leadbelly which I saw sometime in the 90s. It had some good scenes but who knows how accurate it was.
As I said, an interesting question.
