I need to stop. I’ve tried multiple times and it’s extremely hard. I didn’t say that to discourage you, but to tell you it ain’t easy. I support your decision nonetheless.

Protip: nobody cares if you dip or not.

But good on you for making a good decision that should positively affect your health. Hard to hate on that.

Good luck to you. I never really dipped, but i used to smoke. Quitting was hard, but very much worth it. You can do it if you commit. The only thing keeping you from quitting is yourself.

I’m not a dipper. Never have done it. But if you want an alternative, there is Grinds or Cowboy Chew.

It's a little bit like AA but for nicotine. It's about accountability, Saying you won't dip for one day and following through. One day at a time.

AA seems to be kinder for folks relapsing, at least when I went through this it was a hardass approach. I didn't want to let other folks down. So when I posted up my "day 1" I meant it. Day 1 turned into 2. 2 in to 10. 10 into 100. I'm almost 3500 days without nicotine now.

I heard someone say it about cigarettes: "Life. It's what happens between smoke breaks." You really are a slave to nicotine addiction.

Been dipping for a little over 40 years.
Tried several times. Last attempt I made it 12 days without any, cold turkey.
Wanted it just as bad the 12th day than I did the first day and said screw it.
I truly hope you are stronger than me.
Not having any issues but, no way this stuff is extending my life.

I’m a wimp, baw. I’ve had a hard enough time kicking sodas/caffeine along with a couple of other things.

I started the month of April at 234 and tonight I weighed myself at 220. I’m not doing anything drastic just cutting out sugar, the bulk of that was sodas, and replacing it with water. To throw nicotine in the mix would send my mind into a frenzy

I quit Cope Long Cut. I found Smokey Mountain Wintergreen to be very flavorful and it had a certain "bite." Worth a try.

It was good enough for me to feel "guilty" about it and drop it within a week...but if might get you over the hump.

I smoked three years then quite for a girl. I then dipped for 5 years quit and then did nicorette gum for 10 years. Got caught for 5 days in Puerto Rico due to a tropical storm. My choice was cold turkey or a pack of smokes (they dont dip there). I withdrawaled over the 5 days which was horrible and prayed to God to not get the cravings again and I was free. Alcohol..thats a different story

It's roasted corn husks. Cool concept. Cons are the taste is definitely something to acquire. And it's only available by online order so you have to time it right so you don't have a hole that you are tempted to fill with the real stuff.

The blood orange was great.

I’m kind of in the same boat. Been dipping for years. Started thinking about quitting recently. I’m now dipping a can a day sometimes a can and a half a day, depending on what I’m doing. I usually don’t keep a dip in long but will throw another in as soon as I get the itch. Plus I buy it by the roll and prices are consistently getting higher. I’ve heard stories about how hard it is to quit so thank you guys for posting alternatives, I’ll definitely check in to those as well. Good luck bro. Hopefully you will be able to kick it.

Read Alan Carr’s book and quit cold turkey. You can do it. It’s sucks for a few days but after that, it’s just will power.
