If the southern board wall actually works to keep people out, wouldn’t the same wall work to keep people in? No one ever seems to address this.
Ron Paul did. He's my favorite American politician ever, but it's bullshite. Very few Americans leaving the country are driving to/through Mexico. If things in this country get so bad that mass amounts of Americans are trying to escape into Mexico, then the wall would be the least of our problems.

VERY high taxes without much to show for it. Obscene amounts of immigration (total population is +20% over the past 20 or so years, but their native born Canadians aren't having many kids). Lots of the immigrants are Indians and middle easterners that can outbid native Canadians because they're willing to squeeze 10 people into a 3 bedroom apartment, so housing is insane there.
Stop. You’re giving the resident OT “moderates” a raging hard-on thinking about this for America.

Just like the leftists in California, squeeze people for every dime they earn and then punish them if they try to leave. Shout out to St George for staying and fighting, and winning.

That doesn’t seem unreasonable. If a woman wants to flee Alabama she has to take a pregnancy test.

If the departure fee is set up like a soda pop bottle deposit, could the northern border states get reimbursed for illegals sent back to Canada

I don't really know anything about the election process in Canada, but how is this fricker still in office? It seems like he's been there a long time. How often do they conduct an election and when is the next?

Trudeau is seriously the worst leader of our lifetimes.

It’s a shame Canada is so cucked because it’s pretty awesome outside the big cities
The taxes everyone here tells me they pay is wild

Never make the gov’t bigger or give them more power. At the point we have a southern border wall, the federal gov’t will control every point of entrance/exit to the country. Remember when Canada prevented its citizens from crossing the border if they refused vaccination? Did you know the IRS can suspend your passport?

Maybe Trump could do the same thing for all the people that say they are leaving if he wins again. He could probably pay off the national debt from Hollywood alone.

How did Canada become so expensive.
Liberals.
Depending on the city, you will have to pay a certain amount of taxes and impact fees to build anything. Labor is expensive because a lot of it is unionized or requires a ridulous amount of occupational licenses. A huge chunk of land is protected by environmental laws, greenbelt laws, or is owned by the Canadian government entirely. Look at California's real estate problems and imagine that spread out over an entire country and it will give you a decent idea why.

The problem is, the government will force banks, real estate agencies and employers to “report” any “move out” type behavior and therein seize monies from those leaving. I can’t believe people keep electing leaders like Trudeau. Especially after the Covid shenanigans. .

Part of it is subsidized housing.
They give 100k to first time homebuyers, at least as of 2018 they did. Wouldn’t shock me if it was more now.
So everyone jacks prices up by 100k.
