If there's 1 thing that's absolutely certain its that women will say one thing and then do something completely different.
Every woman wants you to think shes all about the high character guys until you notice all of her boyfriends or spouses throughout her entire life who aren't exactly that.

There is, and always has been, a double standard on this board towards women.
Neither sex is completely saintly. There are bad apples in both genders- but to grossly stereotype women like most men do on this board is off putting to say the least.

I spoke of what I’ve heard first hand from older single women with whom I’m friends and what they’ve shared as most important to them.

Men who can do man things. Fix basics, maybe even more. Change oil. Strong and brave. Hard to explain, the old fashioned gender role, I guess. I don’t care for the pretty boys walking around in tight jeans and on their phones. And women should be feminine and proud to have a capable man. I hate what is happening in society.

Sorry Nurse. That’s what women say they want in a relationship, not what they are attracted to. All those traits are actually traits that women find irresistible. A man with those traits will thrive. Again, women say one thing and want another, it’s in stone, an absolute lock, a complete guarantee.
There are millions of guys with those positive qualities sitting home tonight. They are invisible to your friends. They are draped in virtue and celibacy. The guys with those negative traits by contrast , are fricking and fricking a lot. Men know this. We absolutely know that there is almost no correlation between what a woman says she wants and what she finds attractive.

Women would choose the guy who can pay someone to do all of those things 99/100 over the man who does it himself.
Whatever is considered high status, which handyman are not considered, will be what women pursue.

I once heard it put this way: They never showed Cinderella getting slammed from behind by the prince.
I don’t think women desire to be manipulated out of spite or abused psychologically from some mentally unstable hot head. But being with a guy who is selfish for his own ambitions is highly attractive to women. Guys like that come across as having “red flags” to those who don’t understand him because he dominates his life and thus dominates anyone he invites into his life.

Missed this. The reason you routinely hear discussions about these women's experiences with "bad men" is because they keep choosing to have experiences with these "bad men". You're failing to realize the connection and make it seem as if the men with these characteristics just fall from the sky and magically end up in the opposite chair on a date.
Those women choose those men and get those bad experiences and they'll keep choosing those men and keep having those experiences.
