They lived fairly peaceably under centuries of Ottoman rule. Arabs and actual Middle Eastern Jews largely got along.

Once again it all gets traced back to The Great War. The biggest watershed moment in modern human history.

Why would Lebanon want to get involved?

A Peace To End All Peace by David Fromkin is a great read on that very subject.

The southern part of Lebanon is run by "hezbollah with 100,000 rockets". Im not certain if 100,000 rockets is part of their name, but every time the international press refers to them its hezbollah WITH 100,000 ROCKETS, as if they have all the nukes in the world versus some sticks with m80s attached.

They started this last month and Israel sent a drone over and blew up their leader on the ground. Id say the next leader must be just as stupidy.

I believe exactly ZERO of this ongoing supposed war upon Israel and narrative.

Why?

1) It makes no logical or logistical sense; AND...its suicidal for any neighbor of Israel to poke the bear.

2) Whether the Syrians, Lebanese, OR even Palis, the actual citizenry consent and wishes are superseded by Controlling subversive, collusive elements -- exactly as in the case of the US and European PTB.

3) Israel = US (creation of "bogeymen", common MO, MSM, overlords, agenda, etc)

So... meh.

WASH. RINSE. REPEAT.

You sure it's not the internationally recognized terrorist group with an average IQ of 69 who has flatly rejected every two-state peace solution ever proposed and on occasion said the quiet part out loud (that there really is no "Palestinian state" and the only agenda is to eliminate Jews) and who are so insufferable and violently disruptive that no surrounding Arab state will take them as refugees because they know that they will not only murder Jews with whom they disagree, but also other Arabs? The same group that has starved it's own people and subjected them to poverty just so they can buy more arms to try to blow everyone else up? The group who builds military bases under civilian hospitals and actively tries to engineer civilian causalities so as to sucker idiots in the West (no names, of course) to have sympathy for their murderous cause?

'Cause that's my bet as the root cause.

Given that we send foreign aid to over 150 countries—many of which at any given time are engaging in some sort of military action—we have so many "problems" I hardly think one particular country out of 157 is anything to be obsessed over.

I understand that you disagree.

So keep the obsession going. Carry on!

The root cause of the issue is they are Jews and the others are Muslim. Every country on the planet has involved the displacement of others with few exceptions, Palestine has never been a country and they were offered half of the land but refused during the creation of Israel. Israel has more than proved its right to exist, Palestine has never proved anything other than they can’t be trusted
