I'm not sure electoral suicide is a good plan to defeat the Deep State

1. Americans on both sides of the political aisle view these charges as more serious compared to April’s indictment. Republicans, in particular, view the federal indictment as more serious than the New York indictment two months ago.

This movement is driven by Americans across the political spectrum. Notably, however, the biggest increase is among Republicans. Now, 38% of Republicans view the federal indictment charges as serious, compared to 21% in April. Democrats have shifted slightly (7 percentage point increase), though the vast majority believed April’s charges to be serious (91% now, 84% then). Nearly two in three independents (63%) view these charges as serious, compared to 54% in April.

Do you think defeating the deep state is going to ever be a "politically prudent" process? Or that the deep state doesn't have countless means to destroy you?

Take Trump out of the equation. If DeSantis or Pence or Haley or another Bush or whoever did ANYTHING to threaten the deep state, they'd be getting drug into countless courts just the same. You're a fool if you don't think so.

But Trump leads by 40!

He will win the nomination and get trounced again. He is unelectable, but Trumpkins believe the Republican primary is enough to win.

What did Trump do to defeat the deep state? Hire them?

Trump is a swamp creature, he just is a loudmouth carnival barker.

You think Trump is a threat to the deep state?

ABC is getting that negative spin out early.
The commandeering of fed law enforcement agencies at the will of a political party to frame and discredit whomever they perceive is a threat is the big story. Now it's anything to deflect the latest Biden/dem crimes by going after DJT.

If the GOP is dumb enough to nominate Trump then they will deserve the asskicking up and down the ballot they'll receive in 2024.

At some point even Republicans have to realize that nominating a guy in a felony trial is a bad idea. Might take a few weeks to sink in. Closer to the election the promises to pardon him will get quieter and quieter.

Yeah, 31% of Republicans. That would be the ‘Mike Pence’ wing I suppose. Can’t wait to Pence show up at a debate moderated by Tucker. Wherein Trump can straight up blame cowardly enablers like Pence for Biden/Dems destruction of our Constitutional Republic.

Shouldn’t be the sole reason of what the decision is based on. That’s letting Biden pick the candidate.

Bill Barr on Fox this morning said Trump was toast if even half the counts in the indictment were true.
