Going in late June. Looking for a nice place to stay with the wife.

Pfister, Kimpton
Water street and Brady street are good places to go out. Tailgating for Brewers games is top notch and the stadium is great. People are super friendly. Avoid the north side.
You're going to be there over Summerfest which is one of the largest music festivals in the world. Highly recommend you check it out one day. I just checked the headliners and don't even know who most of them are aside from a few but I listen to country and 80s.
Milwaukee is kinda like a small version of Chicago, a lot of fun to be had in the summer.

Bay View is the best neighborhood in MKE, for sure. My every time route is Burnhearts -> The Newport -> Mothership, with a sausage The Vanguard to kick it off.

Not entirely true. Upper East, Downer Woods, and Riverwest are all fantastic neighborhoods.

The Pfister is probably the most historic “grand” hotel in the city and is very nice.
The Hilton garden inn in Milwaukee is probably the nicest HGI I’ve ever seen. The hotel is in the original northwestern mutual office building and has some incredible architecture. It’s a very nice option believe it or not and great value.

Will also confirm Hilton Garden Inn. Very cool place and the rooms are huge. Quick walk into the Third Ward, too. Two of the better bloodies in MKE are at The Wicked Hop and St. Paul Fish.

We stayed at the brewhouse years ago when heading up to the Wisconsin game. I’d recommend it
