I know he's always whining, but tonight is particularly bad. Dude is way too good/talented to act like this. Also, glad refs aren't giving into his head snaps. He and SGA are such merchants with that shite....

In my personal travel experience, absolutely. I frequently travel for work and, honestly, want to spend as little time in ORD as possible. With PreCheck, I know how long it'll take to get from home -> gate. Every single time....

Aside from being in the immediate downtown area, Bay View, Lower East Side, Third Ward, and Walker's Point are all neighborhoods worth checking out. The Brewery District is quickly growing, too. If you're in Bay View, would recommend grabbing a sausage at Vanguard and getting a couple drinks at B...
dates that work for us, we can catch a Cubs and Sox Game
Find a hotel in River North, The Loop, or Streeterville. These will have the greatest concentration of hotels across all price ranges. Plus, you'll be in walking distance of a Red Line station, which goes to both stadiums (a...

I frequently ride the F, G and L trains when I'm visiting my parents / extended family. Have never felt an ounce of concern for my well-being. Never want to speak in absolutes, but you don't have to extend yourself past standard precautions....

I've only been to Rio, which was a couple months back. I know some Portuguese, so I was able to figure things out... barely. Highly-recommend learning a bit because you won't come across many people that know English. Most of my time was exploring bars/restaurants, but did get a chance to see Ch...
I may catch a MLB game.
Unfortunately, Twins are gone first week of June. Sucks, because I was planning for that week, too. Ended up switching a couple weeks later and going to catch a Thursday day game with some buddies. However, still an easy drive over to Minneapolis. Can wal...
The minor league team in St. Paul’s has an awesome downtown stadium.
Saints games are a lot of fun, for sure. Lowertown is a nice pocket of St. Paul, too - Barrel Theory makes fantastic IPAs. Aside from that, St. Paul can get sleepy at times. Definitely a neighborhood-driven part o...

re: Phone use Internationally

In the past, I've opted for an international plan through Verizon, which you can pay by the day or flat $100 for 30 days. When I'm international for 10+ days, paying $100 makes more sense. However, I've used Airalo the last few international trips. It is an eSIM store that allows you access digit...
To note, all of our interstates are referred to by names. You'll most likely catch traffic on the Tri-State (294), but consider yourself extremely fortunate that you'll skip the Eisenhower (290) and Kennedy (90). Those will be an absolute mess. All said, I wouldn't worry about missing your flight un...
The Hilton garden inn in Milwaukee is probably the nicest HGI I’ve ever seen. The hotel is in the original northwestern mutual office building and has some incredible architecture. It’s a very nice option believe it or not and great value.
Will also confirm Hilton Garden Inn. Very ...
