It has been awhile since I’ve been to Nola. I attended LSU undergrad 2006-2010.

Friend is there for a week working with a client for his own cybersecurity business. He’s in mid 30s and looking mainly for nightlife recommendations but secondarily food, general tourism, and casinos.

He’s staying in the quarter near convention center. TIA

ETA: he’s looking for classy nightlife

Probably best to stay in his room. It’s dangerous to go out there!

If he's looking for a little class, try the Carousel Bar at the Monteleone or just hang out in the lobby/bar of the Roosevelt. Try the The Polo Club at the Windsor Court too.

Hot Tin at the top of the Ponchartrain Hotel. Best view of the city. The Westin has a cool bar up top with a great view as well
