re: Need Thatcher Hurd tomorrow

I know we’ve been burned all year, but I would love to see him go 3 innings tomorrow and get pulled at the slightest sign of trouble....
The Tigahs don’t deserve to go to the Regionals. Jay got his National Championship, he’s going to look like Coach O for the rest of his Tigahs career.
Possibly the worst part of the disappointing performance this season is having to scroll past imbecile posts like this....

I can understand why Sunday pitching would struggle given that no one has stepped up as a reliable third starter, but I agree with those that are perplexed that the Sunday hitting has been so consistently lacking. Maybe they’re pressing because the urgency to score more runs is greater....

I feel like several posters here may have a skewed idea of current home prices and trajectory of home prices. I’m not an expert by any means, but my understanding is that the median home price in many competitive markets has skyrocketed over the past couple of years, and any drop in mortgage rates i...

I mean White was maybe a foot away from a perfectly placed two-run single there, maybe not the best example of some flaw in his approach....
Need some big barrel Connexion bats out there. Maybe a big barrel Triple 7 in the mix....

I wonder if we’re going to see Moffett and possibly Cam Johnson begin to take the place of Loer and Hurd in these high leverage situations. Granted, I’m just including Johnson based on the potential (and a lefty to replace Loer)....

Oh boy, Guidry is in…I really hope he’s able to shut them down and close it here....
I’m just surprised that you haven’t given up on the team fifty times already. Not surprised that you are unaware of who calls shifts on the staff....
It’s amazing the amount of posters criticizing proven data because the one time they were tuning in the 25 percent action hurt their team.
Especially considering that opposing fans have been marveling over our defensive shifting effectiveness for the past season (one of the few ...
Do you think Jay goes crazy in the portal and flips over most of this lineup? Do you think Yeskie and other assistants may be let go?
It probably depends on how the rest of the season plays out. I think that earlier in the year, pitching was the biggest issue, and the regression of...
With estimated taxes you avoid a penalty if you pay 90% of the current year's final number or 100% of the previous year's tax due whichever is lower by the 15th. It is shorthand for quarterly payers so as long as you pay 100% of the last year's total by the 15th you avoid any penalties but yo...

Some of the hitting woes remind me of some of the later Mainieri years where it seemed like no one could get it going, several guys hovering around .200....
It is a bit concerning that (with the exception of White) the guys producing the best at the plate are the guys with the least time in the system....
Durability. I think that the most remarkable thing about this team’s underwhelming performance is that there have been almost no (publicly disclosed) injuries this year. Aside from Noot and Shores recovering from last years injuries, Frey with a shoulder dislocation and possibly Kade Woods dealing w...
Guidry is a two pitch guy with one of them being a low 90’s fastball. That’s too easy for SEC hitters.
Except Guidry was reliable-to-good last year with similar limitations. He’s practically unplayable now....

Man this team really has no awareness. Two really solid base hits, and both guys are put out due to baserunning errors. Would have put up no runs due to another baserunning error if the throw was on the mark. ...
There is no more inane trope than this “no leader” mantra that is spouted after every loss. No one posting here has any clue about the attitude or verbal exchanges in the dugout and the clubhouse. ‘Team does bad and isn’t noticeably excited’ is the way of the world. Literally the barometer for l...
it's definitely possible Johnson rode the backs of two generational players and a multitude of high end SEC players to a title last year and that he's not actually a hyper talented coach.
