I mean, considering the baseball season is a fraction of the year, not having to work away games, the doors it would open with the people you get to meet, it's probably a pretty awesome gig even at the minimum salary. You also don't have to live *in* NYC to work in Queens. I lived in Suffolk County and went to Mets games all the time. Maybe a 45 minute drive with no tolls.

I wonder if they let him keep appearance fees? Denver Nuggets Mascot, Rocky, clears 650k every year. Cant imagine Mr Met if properly motivated to yuck it up at kids parties cant do the same. Then again, they are the fricking mets. They suck at everything.
