This is wonderful news and I'm SURE your love and closeness is helping pull Mrs. through. Faith is so important and I'll keep praying for her full recovery.
This is a MAJOR milestone and the corner is turning.

Excellent news and wishing her the best on her continued road to recovery. There have been so many times that the support system of TD, where nearly all of the posters are for the most part strangers in real life, completely amazes me. This thread has been one of those times.

I teared up reading this! I am so grateful to or GOD, We are gonna get this sweet lady home by prayer and GOD's Grace. Do not know why but you guys stay in my thoughts and prayers all the time! God is good all the time!!! And all the time God is good!!

Praise to God that Mrs. M is showing improvement - AND a sense of humor! Having gone thru something equally frightening with my husband a couple years ago (he was in the ICU for 6 weeks and given only 3% odds of survival - then God worked one of his miracles - hubby survived and is now back to 100%), I can FULLY attest to the uplifting and healing power of prayer. I have been praying continuously that God is working yet another one of his miracles for your wife & family, as well.

Update: Work remains to be done. Residual swelling from ventilator needing some steroids and breathing treatments, watching blood pressure because not on sedation. But she’s watched by hawks there and continues to improve. No fever. I’m praying as much or more as before.
