There are programs that don’t seem to value integrity over winning as much as others. He’ll find a job somewhere at some point, but I suspect he’s gonna have to go the Hugh Freeze route and start over at a small- time program.
The level of the apparent violations may make him a non-starter for the SEC in terms of a job in the conference, a la Freeze. Pearl is an exception, but I don’t think his violations reached the level of Wade’s. Admittedly I don’t know those details re: Pearl.
If I understand the show cause(?) scenario he may actually be untouchable for any program unless they’re willing to wait out his dead weight on its program. Think of a team that has a middling program that has traditionally low expectations.
The problem for Wade is that you have texts and audio DIRECTLY linking him to payments. That’s gonna be tough for a program to touch. At least in the short-term. Wade has to work hard to rehab his reputation and may never get back what he puts in.
Finally, a lot of us liked Wade and enjoyed some real success as a basketball team. A lot of you guys are mad at LSU for terminating him. I’m part of the crowd that hates it for myself and fellow fans. But today I can’t pull for a coach that has quite possibly set our program back only God knows how long. Sure, “everyone” does it. But he was careless, sloppy and leaves LSU with a real black eye. He deserves his fate.

Maybe so but if the FBI & NCAA Went deep into b-ball recruiting they could dig this shite up on 20 schools, just Wades trail was on National TV, he made them look bad, FBI gave NCAA some appetizers for their cooperation

This is the guy that signed off on Bo and an O huge extension. Oversaw the hiring of the worst assistant football hires possibly ever at LSU. Bungled the football and baseball hires by settling for guys when the big fish wouldn’t come. Mulkey wanted out of Baylor and came calling. Any AD would have hired her.

LOL no he won't be coaching in the SEC or ACC anytime soon. Expect him to POSSIBLY be a candidate for a AAC or Sunbelt team, but that's about it for awhile.

Yeah pretty much, NCAA leveraged LSU football and this was the open door for Woodward to hire the basketball coach he wants

Safest thing for WW is to find an assistant job in the NBA and hide out for many years. If I had a big time program I wouldn't trust this criminal with my program.

Emmett has to protect Woodard by sanctioning and maligning Wade to the point it makes him untouchable for any team to be sure he can’t go somewhere especially on the SEC or major program and be successful and show up Woodard or his decision as being wrong.

I have to admit, I liked being gangster and all but the specifics paint the picture of a reckless, deceitful and immature coach.
I’ll leave ‘lack of integrity’ out of it because it seems that is a prerequisite for successful coaches at this level. The good ones have just learned to do it good.

A good AD drives that down in price considering what O had done on and off the field. Instead Scott pays full price.
