Which would be great, but can someone point me in the direction of the plans and budget breakdowns? The plans for office? The plans for police? The plans for taxes? Actual breakdowns, not some half arse thrown together bullet points from the web site.
So it holds more water if it's printed instead of on a screen, bro? Seems legit.

Soooooo you've never heard of "Ellerbee Park?"

I’d like to see the Baton Rouge plan. I bet it called l”Looting for Dummies”.

Tell mayor Broome She can’t find it either.

Broome couldn’t find her own arse without a map, a flashlight, and a catered lunch.

Parker couldn’t retire, he didn’t have enough money to cover his drinking addiction.
Posted on 5/5/22 at 5:33 pm to Icansee4miles
I’m sure a bunch of developers in Livingston and Ascension would have bought drinks for him. He made their careers. Same with a bunch of private schools.
Allan Thomason Sr made a ton off of DSLD because Parker made EBR schools no-go.

Could she find her arse with both hands?

She’d be able to find it if she stopped short. Murphy Paul would get stuck up it.

How can y’all have the energy to care so strongly about this. Just thinking about it bores me to tears. For some reason it seems like the south Louisiana area is obsessed with state politics. I couldn’t find 10 people around where I live that would take the time to discuss any of this stuff
surely you understand this attitude is why our social fabric has been annihilated and will never be put back together right?
don’t fein surprise when official articles of separation are introduced in Austin this fall

Anyone have any updates?
TV hadn’t giving it much coverage.
The Advocate has done some, mostly pro Broome.
For example; this morning the headline was that the economist hired by Broome says SG is not financially feasible. The article had a few bullet points from him. The article had the economist hired by SG saying otherwise but he didn’t make the headline or the sub headline.

99.9% of the property owned in Gardere aren’t owned by the residents. They OWNERS didn’t want to be apart of St George and pay higher taxes. You thinking the BLACK people didn’t want to be included sums up the entire St George movement
Hey dumbfrick, the out of town property owners weren't the ones that voiced their opposition by voting against St George the first go-round. The residents were. You thinking the people who don't live there actually got to vote on it sums up your entire level of intelligence.

Small article in the Advocate this morning on the bottom of the front page of the B section.
SG CPA testified that SG will run a 20 million dollar surplus in year one. Compares SG to Central. Broome lawyer says otherwise. CPA insists he’s right.
Those here following the SG situation should understand by now that SG will not be leaving EBR Parish; consequently, we will still pay parish property taxes thus we will continue to enjoy library, park, Mosquitto control, and EMS services as we do now. We will also continue to pay sewer fees and will receive sewer service. We continue our fire service as before and pay taxes to our fire districts. This won’t change either. Taxes will still go to the sheriff and we will be covered by the parish sheriff. That’s what Central does.
Here are the stats;
Central has 29,565 people SG 86,316
Central 62.5 square miles; SG 60 square miles
Central receives 9.43 m in sales tax; SG is est. to receive 44million
Central receives 10.2 m in total rev; SG est.. To receive 48 m
Central budget est.. 8.63 million in spending; thus a 1.6 m surplus.
SG CPA estimates SG will spend 28m; thus a 20m surplus.
SG has almost three times the population as Central does, about the same area, but SG should receive nearly 5 times more in sales taxes and other revenues.

that was kind of what i was bringing up before about the specific taxes. It's not like we are getting new taxes. We already pay for the things we are already receiving. That's not changing. The only new taxes would be things that we vote for.
And i don't understand why the mayor gives a shite if we pay more taxes here. WE VOTED FOR IT DUMBfrick. MIND YOUR OWN frickING BUSINESS.
