Copenhagen just has a more energetic vibe than Stockholm or Oslo. I've been to Stockholm 4 times including once with a friend who grew up there and we stayed at his sisters house on a fjord 15 minutes outside the city. He did take us to some cool spots a tourists would never know about but the city itself just doesn't grab me like Copenhagen does.

First place that came to mind for me was Belfast. Had a great time learning about the Troubles, Titanic Museum is probably the most engaging, comprehensive, interesting museum I've ever been to .. but no real desire to go back.

Agreed. I have no need to go back to London until I have to drag my kids there on their next obligatory trip to Europe. London is a disappointing, business city, with monuments and museums in it. I'd rather be in Manchester or even Liverpool.
Paris is far more interesting, and I pity the fool that is allied with AA and has to fly BA to Europe through LHR. The only reason I'm going back to Paris is to get to Normandy, otherwise it is yet another city I never need to go back to again. Too many foreigners "living their best life."
Brussels has no purpose beyond chocolate and being able to get anywhere in northern Europe quickly by train.
Never need to hit Rome or Venice, ever again, either. Boring as hell after two days.
Where could I KEEP going back to? Tokyo (Japan overall), Seoul.

Napa/Bay Area. Loved all my prior trips out there, but I no longer drink so Napa has lost much of its allure and the current crime rate, homelessness problem and political climate in the Bay Area have turned me off from ever wanting to go again (at least for the foreseeable future).

Couldn’t agree more. We did a London /Paris combo trip over new years and I really wish we’d spent more time in Paris over breaking it up evenly. Paris was unique and had a lot more character imo . If someone had blindfolded me and dropped me off in London I’d have a tough time telling it apart from a lot of major us cities . I’m glad I visited but I’m good with a one and done there. I’m not much of a repeat traveler anymore though. My bucket list is long and I could drop dead tomorrow so I’m trying to see it all at least once.

I love the the West Side of L..A.-especially Santa Monica, West Hollywood and Westwood, but the traffic is horrible and it’s not a good walking town for the most part. Last trip there was for the UCLA/ LSU game. Can’t see myself going there again.

Minneapolis/St. Paul- Had a nice summer visit to one of the area lakes and parks for a wedding, but nothing special to entice me to go back. The visit was also pre-BLM/Target/Covid when times seemed more normal. Flying through MSP from November through April is bad enough, but at least you don't need to leave the airport in those cases

Same exact experience for me. Loved the vibe, the food, the ladies, nice cars, incredible homes... but not the traffic, the homeless, or the dirty streets.

Meh, Destin has plenty of great restaurants, you are being over dramatic about snow birds, and as you said, going in months not June-August really is great as far as less crowded and less heat.

The only place I can say I have no need to go back is Vegas.

I think the hype it gets raised my expectations. The food was good but not as good as in Madrid. Like I said, I enjoyed it but for me, it wasn't an amazing place that I want to go back to.
