Ever since I tore my left pec and bicep 11 years ago my pull-ups have been garbage and I haven’t been able to improve

Mine is 36.

6’ 205
34 waist in jeans, sometimes 33

I don’t look fat. Last time I did the navy calculator i think I got 17% bf.

I don’t understand how people gain strength (in their 40s) while holding onto a true 32/33” waist.

they get to around 10% BF and then focus on size and strength using slight surplus until it BF% creeps up to the 15% range, cut back to 10% and restart.

I don't ever see me getting to Godlike on incline or chin ups. Definitely not chin ups My best is a sloppy 40%. Standing press is the only one I think I could get Godlike in. Only need another 7.5 lbs.
