I wouldn’t because I have no need for a single cab truck but the idea is cool. Single cab trucks are pretty much the de facto standard pickup truck.. i can sort of understand someone saying they ‘have no need for a double cab’ truck or something, but otherwise ur statement makes no sense .
You’re fricking retarted aren’t you?

Are these legal in all states?
No, not in CA or the 13 (IIRC) other states that have adopted the Clean Cars legislation.

How would that get enforced exactly? It looks like a f150, so whi would really notice.

Jesus Christ, why so hostile ? Bad Thanksgiving Eve ? I didnt call you names, even though you are apparently a low IQ piece of shite .. All im saying is you have to be super young or special needs to not realize that single cab pickups were the basic, entry level option THEN double cabs and crew cabs were added later on.. You fricking idiot .

It would most likely fail an emissions check unless the builder certified the engine in all 50 states.

The back seat is just a catch all anyway. An extended cab might be nice, they aren't as ugly as the double cabs.

They strip the truck down to fleet specs but has a 700 HP engine?
Should be interesting. Im not against that. It needs to be 4wd if I owned one. Preferably extended cab at least.

It is Toyota and it’s only $10k. Probably has a 4 cylinder and 200 HP or so though
Awesome if it has a small diesel and 4wd.

You a fricking boomer? Think about this before your stupid arse responds with the low IQ bullshite.
How many single cabs do you see on dealer lots and how many do you see on the road?

Its infuriating that you have to order the top tier packages to get the high performance engines
You can buy whichever package you want and order the S/C through Ford afterwards to retain the warranty. They have to install it though

That’s too much shite to go through just to buy a truck.

Seems that most in this thread do not understand what a sleeper truck is
I was looking at it, wondering where I was going to sleep, so you're probably right.

All three states probably deal with it a little differently but in CA you would have 3 possible points of enforcement:
1. if the VIN doesn't indicate CARB compliance, I do not know if the dealer installed SC impacts the VIN
2. the first time it had to go through a smog test, new cars get 8 years before testing and I think 3 or 4 years if there is a change of registration
3. if it sounds modified then any traffic stop to require a showing of Carb compliance
Plenty of people get away with non-compliant vehicles and there are probably plenty of ways to get around the smog tests like every other state that has some sort of inspection. Back in my drag racing days there was a shop that would give an inspection sticker to anything. One of my cars had a 6-71 blower and running rich enough at idle that you pump the exhaust into another engine and run it without any extra fuel. As soon as I would pull up the owner would be walking to my car filling out the form and as soon as I gave him my $3 he would slap the sticker on and send me on my way.

Still ways even with scan requirements. Just gotta know the right people. My GTR has never been to an inspection facility.

WYDI?
frick yeah
Don't know how you'd hook up taking off unless you had sand bags in the back and the SOB would try to swap ends in the wet, so your arse better pay attention
In other words, all kinds of fun

Yes "i'll take that one and please schedule a whipple supercharger install and add it into the final price" does seem like a huge time waste of time now that I think about it.

Come on Sadvocate, we could put a Sadvocate wrap around it.
Do burnouts with white rednecks an good ole boys & girls watching to close I-10 during bayou classic traffic going to the game.
Seriously it’s for a person that wants a toy just like back in the 1990’s when GMC made the S-15 Cyclone. That truck was all wheel drive on an astro van all wheel drive chassis.
One big issue.
Light truck
A lot of power
Rear end going to slip all over the road.
