Yes, did it years ago. I want to say it was in 2015 or so in New Orleans, no issues at all.

Safelite sells crappy glass and is way overpriced. Only rubes use them.

They replaced my Jeep windshield with the OEM glass

Have used them twice. On my car and my son's car.

Both times it went off without a hitch. Much better than bringing your car into a body shop or repair shop and not having use of your car for a day or two.

If you need your front glass or any window changed I would recommend Safelite. At least for me they did a really good job, twice.

Safelite is owned by Belron out of the UK. Find an independent local shop that does mobile.

I doubt everyone is get OEM windshields. Mine certainly wasn't OEM.

Just used Safelite last week. They did have to come back out to re-calibrate my forward-facing camera for the collision avoidance system. Guy said they have issues calibrating F-150's. But overall, I'd use them again. The technicians were great to deal with.

Maybe they aren't, but there was an option for me. I could choose to get the OEM glass, or a generic or whatever you want to call it. I went with the OEM.

Jayson the owner at Advanced Windshield has mobile units. Once I met him at a Dealership, another time, I was at a restaurant, he had it changed before I finished my meal. Never had a problem.
