We aren’t getting Bam, Booker, or Fox

2 things that are the literal opposite of Trae Young

This is such a bad take.

We've been desperate to add shooters for years and now we want to trade our best one because he had a bad game.

CJ was dearly missed last night.

Such a great spot for him to play well, and couldn't shoot.

Credit the Lakers defense and how they approached him moreso than him being just awful.

Lol are you serious? The denver nuggets are exactly this. Its a center, good defense and shooters.

Jamal Murray is a bit more than "a good shooter"

Yes I know but you could say the same for Trey and CJ as well. But primarily the thing he does elite level is shoot.

He's a pure point guard and a good defender, 2 things neither Trae nor CJ are.

Lol hes not a pure point guard and hes an ok defender. The point guard on that team is Jokic. You do watch the nuggets right?

Trae Young may be a poor defender, but he is one of the best passers in the NBA. Outside of Luka and Jokic, nobody sets up teammates for more easy baskets than Trae.

Trae Young is one of the few guys that would seriously make me take a break from watching the Pels if they traded for him. I cannot stress enough how bad I would hate having Trae Young on this team.

I really don't think so, he is more of a Combo to me

Yep, and he’s one of the guys in the league that will spam a play that works over and over again.

Trae and Zion P&R would be NASTY because you cannot double team both nor can you sag off of one of them.

Then we can just focus on the defense. Murray is world's better than Trae.

He's also shown he'll play in a ball movement offense. Trae will not

There are 2 sides to this. If he can do for New Orleans with Willie what he did for Atlanta with McMillan, he is worth every asset we give and every penny of his salary.

Zion's been injured. It is what it is.

What's Trae's excuse?

Hes not. Now you’re making bad judgement calls because you don’t like Trae. The nuggets offense falls apart when jokic leaves. Why do you think that is even with Murray?

You sure you read that right about me talking about defense?

What do you mean? In Nate's only full season with them they finished 9th and lost in the first round. The Pels surrounding cast would be much better but what did he do that was so impressive? Other than obvious PPG.
