High School baseball walk outs

What in the heck is up with the spirit line of players and they come through and do a dumb arse handshake or celebration with a non starter at the end of the line? That is the biggest douche thing I've ever seen and it's becoming more common. I witnessed it several times this past week watching the state tournament. Also, is there a bigger douche team than Barbe walking in with a juke box, headbands allover the place, eye black all over the place. Hell of a program, but way too much primadonna!!

Don't remember the team we played back in the day but it was in the semifinals. Someone from NE/Central LA.
We didn't see them warm up or anything the entire time before the game. It's like 5 minutes before the game starts and we still have yet to see them.
Then they open up a gate in the centerfield fence and the whole team walks out in single file and one dude is carrying an american flag and another has a boom box playing Enter Sandman.
We were all sitting in the dugout just watching the stupidity in silence. They did their little thing and one of the guys on our team stood up once they were done and said, "alright let's go kick their arse" in the most non chalant way you could. Game was over after the 2nd inning and we started putting in all our reserves after that until the arse whipping was over with in the 5th from run rule. 21-1.

All the things wrong with the high school game... this ain't one of them. Kids are way focused on metrics instead of fundamentals. Kids cry about not playing instead of working for it. Kids care about looking sick instead of actually playing the game the right way.

baseball has the highest percentage of douchebags. i blame the parents and removal of chin music
there is always someone bigger or stronger than you in football or basketball. Or there is just someone more angry than you that day.
You are not going to peacock around the football field when someone is ready to take your head off.

MSB and the OT....not enough kids are moving around and playing sports....way too many video games
also the MSB and OT....some kids are playing too much sports and are having too much fun with it.
WHAT HORRIBLE PARENTS AND DOUCHEBAG KIDS!!!! How dare they play a sport they like more than I deem satisfactory, how dare they be in shape compared to the video game kids and now HOW frickING DARE THEY HAVE FUN WHILE PLAYING THE SPORT!!!
i agree OP, this shite much be stopped, too much fun going on, especially by the teams making the HS state tournament....fricking kids think just because they are the last 4 standing they can just have all kinds of fun, unfrickinacceptable!!!!!

When I was coaching high school baseball we were in the quarterfinals, the game was at our place. When the visiting players would finish getting ready instead of just going to the outfield to begin stretching, they would individually sprint out onto the infield grass between both dugouts and start flexing at us, then turn around and sprint to the outfield. Funniest shite I ever seen. They ended up beating us in extra innings and went on to win it all.
