Scoot goes back to the early 1970's. Yeah, I'm getting older than dirt. He was quite popular as a rock-n-roll dj for WRNO back then.

Wow, I thought i was ancient since i remember, as a little kid, listening to ‘Scoot in the Morning’ on the old B97 while getting ready for school in the early 1980s.. . You got me beat.. Anyway, Scoot is a goddam treasure, and a relic of New Orleans past.. even though i havent heard his voice in probably three decades .. i dont care that he looks like an aging lesbian .

He’s always been terrible. He’s a complete no talent tard. About 10 years ago I called in to mess with him. He was yammering on about some BS topic of personal security in New Orleans. I made up some story about getting accosted one night on the riverwalk when I was with my girlfriend. Went on and on about how I used karate moves and kicks on the perp. My story was complete with kapows and hiyah’s as I told the story about how I beat up my assailant. He was so into it. He let me go on for about 3 or 4 minutes before he realized it was a joke. He’s an absolute moron. He must work for free because there is no way anybody is stupid enough to think he has talent and hire him.

I'm usually not near a radio from 1-4 but I did hear him say one time that you can't judge things by appearance and he should know better than anyone.
I assumed he was referring to everyone thinking he's gay.
