If it was in no way shape or form rigged?

I don't think it will be rigged as there is no financial incentive to do so. However, they have already pre-rigged the fight with silly rules. 14 vs 10 oz gloves, 2 minute rounds, and you can only win by knockout.

Also, TDIL the fight will be on Netflix.

Jesus that's almost as expensive as a Taylor Swift ticket.

Zero dollars. I wouldn’t even go for free if somebody gave me free VIP tickets, free transportation on a private jet and a hotel suite at a 5 star hotel. It will be that bad.

Anything short of Tyson knocking him out in round 1 is completely rigged

You are crazy if you believe that. Tyson is an old man. Jake Paul has been training serious for a long time and has fought in huge fights already so nerves aren’t gonna be an issue for him. I just hope mike doesn’t get any long term damage from this.

Tyson is just enough of a wild man to potentially double cross a fixed fight.

I'm not watching a fight with 16oz sparring gloves.

You think Jake Paul is anywhere near a professional fighter?

Nothing. I did pay $35 in 1988 to watch the closed circuit feed of Tyson's 91 second Michael Spinks fight. Ii would have been like throwing money away, if there hadn't been four or five preliminary fights to watch before it, One of the guys I went with missed the whole fight buying beer.

In the 70's when I was in high school, a buddy's family had a satellite dish. I went over and watched tThe Thrilla in Manila and his last fight against Ken Norton.

You really have to respect Jake Paul’s grift. He’s made an entire career out of convincing stupid people to shell out money to watch him “fight”.

It’s a celebrity thing puffed up to make more money. I’ll check out the highlights to see how quickly Tyson folds him over with the stomach and liver shots and the coup de grace uppercut.

A bunch of past their prime rigged for tv fights is not huge fights. It's about money. None of it real.

I think we're just getting older.

My family is going on a vacation to the UK at the end of the summer. They're having Reading Fest while we're there. My son dropped about $300 on it -- to me that's insane but he says that's the going rate these days.

I was looking into going just for one day and it was close to $200 just for that. So I guess he gets to go, he can tell me about it when he gets back to the flat.
