Once again, all by design. Cripple the economy. Make average Joe dependent on govt handouts which nets them more control.

The spark will be lit and I would be scared af to be a “refugee”. Same goes for police as they will be targeted.

This really doesn't mean as much as you think. Naples is a terrible example.

Naples has LONG been known as the shithole of Italy. It has always, ALWAYS been rough.

Rick Steves who is as liberal a guy as they come has told people to skip it for like 30 years.

Certainly its probably worse than it was because of the immigrants, but Naples really isn't that good of an example.

Also this is right near one of the main train stations, which has always been the worst place in the city. (Same thing with Rome, the train station area was rough 20 years ago and was equally rough just a few years ago...just now with much more Pakistanis and africans).

While I believe everything you said here, we had trouble choosing a European destination for vacation bc everywhere we checked apparently is overran by immigrants.

I've been to Europe almost every year for the past decade. You'll be fine, don't look at all of this crap.

Yes, in Paris near the Eiffel Tower or near Sacre Coer, or in Rome near the major monuments, there will be some immigrants hustling or selling crap. There was a decade ago and they are there now.

Mostly you just ignore them just like you would in New York or somewhere like that and keep walking. You're not going to have any problems at all in the major cities in the nice areas you would stay in, and Europe is filled with amazing places that you won't see any of that crap.

You're safer there than in virtually any city in America.

Go, have fun. You wouldn't be going to Naples anyway.

If it really concerns you, leave the cities and go to smaller towns, or places like Florence or Alsace, or go to places like Switzerland. But you really aren't going to have a lot of issues.

Forget the Islam thing. Apparently few on this board have ever been to Naples. It's always been trashy and poor.....just like the Comorra likes it. Some of these street scenes look nicer than one of the frequent garbage strikes that plague the city where mountains of garbage just lay around.

Naples has been a shithole for decades

I was in Rome 11 years ago and the Africans everywhere in the streets trying to sell you cheap crap was a problem then.

I guess that Italians don’t count Sicilians as being part of Italy then, because I thought Sicily was supposed to be the shithole of Italy.

Go to Naples and then go to Milan and get back to me.

Naples has some really nice areas but it’s not a tourist destination. It’s always had extremely rough areas and has been somewhat of a hole in places. The place where this was filmed has always been rough to my understanding

Milan is basically a different world.

Italy gets much poorer the further South you go. (Save for Amalfi)

Sicily and down south are poorer than Naples, but Naples has a real rough reputation. Sicily does too but it’s different
