I don't even think it means that. Trae has a toxic locker room reputation, and many would argue he's overrated as player. There are just a lot of red flags around Trae that will limit the teams that are interested.

The GMs that will go after Trae will probably be the type that are blinded by optimism and love buying at a discount...

Or... a small market team who would otherwise never have any chance to land a player of his caliber via trade or free agency.
