The article I read said they had to check in twice weekly. I’ve been to Turks, and it’s pretty laid back. They have a +- 50 person defense force throughout the islands and about 250 law enforcement personnel. I think it would be pretty easy to bust on outta there with the help of a few stateside buddies. There are quite a few capable guys who would love to run that op as a weekend activity.

One of the other quirks about the Turks is they require a citizen to put up collateral for bail so if they leave the guy loses his house.

I think they would have a tough time collecting on that deal. If they could collect on it; I’d let them have it over a 12 year prison stint.
