That dindu nothing tried to kill his supervisor.
This was pre meditated attempted murder. He deserved to have his life ended.

What I don't get is the unawareness of the dude he was trying to shoot. Seems like I'd hear someone lumber into my office, run into a chair, fumble around with something in his pocket, and chamber a fricking bullet. At some point I would notice someone in my personal space and at least look to see what the frick is going on. But he was blissfully unaware until the gun fired. WTF.
