You don’t need to try and impress us. A 32 waist just means pants size for non gym bros

32 jeans shouldnt mean anything. they have started doing the same thing they did in womens clothes. A 32 doesnt mean anything close to a 32" waist.

im not trying to impress anyone and most in a 32 jeans size are still kind of pudge.

32" around the navel....yea not so much

they have those pills, but go low carb if you dont want to take them.

Get your carbs from greens, dont get it from your drinks.

If you drink coffee see how much calories you are adding to it, go black.

By not drinking alcohol it was also easy not to snack on crap in the evenings. It all adds up.

I stopped eating bread, pasta, and rice.

Sure I will partake on occasion but in my day to day life I try to avoid these things. All 3 tend to make you bloat and store them as fat.

I don't drink any. Just terrible eating habits. I'm trying 30mins hard cardio each day.

- prioritize protein
- calorie restriction
- replace the cardio with weights

you will look like a new person in 6 months

This, and personally I lean away from the IF, Keto, and cheat day diets. They absolutely work for some, but by and large they tend to yo-yo vs adopting more protein, fiber, and movement. You can have "bad" foods, just be sure to track it and the macros and don't over-indulge. When you do over-indulge (you will) just up the water and fiber and work your way back. As others have said though alcohol is your worst enemy with the empty calories and bloating.

If you have a typical South Louisiana male diet then you will see progress in 4-6 weeks, probably sooner. Even if it's just belt notches. Typically it's 4 weeks to see it on the scale, 6 weeks before you notice the changes, and 10 weeks before other people notice.

Whenever I first cut back on drinking I would have crazy sugar cravings in the evenings. Took a few weeks but they went away.

32" waist? I remember 6th grade.
You wear a size 7.5 shoe, too?

But seriously. No bread, no beer, no fun.

I'm in same boat.
Currently 245 and need to be 220 at least.
I don't snack and eat well. No booze, no sugary drinks. Lift 4 days a week and do a little steady state cardio before the lifting. Muscles grow but gut persists. I do not get it.
