If you ever get the chance rent a Jeep and drive around some of the state parks in Utah and go to Moab. Take some of the easier scenic trails in a rental I think you might look at Jeeps in a different way.

Trip to Moab UT a few years ago. My Jeeps parked on a peak where you see a lot of car commercials filmed and parked. It's a 8500 foot drop and makes you nervous pulling up there for the picture.

It’s crazy how obsessed people are with the most unreliable vehicles on the planet.
Nearly 20 years old. 187,000 miles, no issues other than wear items. Never left me stranded. Straight 6 with a stick. Did have to replace the right front fender after wifey slid into a tree. I put the lift on myself and do all maintenance. Thing can climb up a wall.

I can always tell the people on this board that's never done serious ATV riding. If you had, you wouldn't shite all over Jeeps every time you get a chance.

Oh, and phuck a duck.

The whole Jeep thing is so fricking gay.

Yeah... actually at the end of the Rubicon Trail there is a massive dick waiting for you to suck on, it's why it is so popular in the Jeep community.

I don't do the duck thing, I get them from time-to-time, but it is a nice way for people to show appreciation for other Jeep builds, connect via social, etc.

It doesn't have to hurt anyone for people to mock it. You seem sensitive.

My neighbor has probably 20 on her dashboard.

Why is this a thing? When did it start?

Had to look up the origins.

Looks like you can buy starter kits on Amazon to get going.

I had one put in my door handle overnight few weeks ago. I look at the security video and I see a kid come out from a food delivery driver next door and put it on. Kid prob goes with dad on some deliveries and it’s his thing. I gave it to our 12 year old like the others I’ve gotten.

I have probably been ducked about 10 or so times. It has seem to have died down now though. Was a big thing during Covid.

Pretty sure most people with ducks now, are just buying them for themselves.

I remember when the prank at my school was to move one guy’s jeep because it was possible to start it without a key. (It previously belonged to an older student, which is why people were aware of that quirk)
