Suter started and went 3 batters and was pulled.
Pagan went 3 batters and was pulled.

I guess they feel that gives them the best chance to win.

Currently 2-0 Reds in the 3rd

How many pitchers will they use? 9? 10?

Dodgers regularly throw bullpen games and win so its possible. Glasnow doesnt have his usual good stuff so Reds may win.

Speaking of the Dodgers, did the Ohtani story just sort of disappear, or have I just not been paying attention? Is it pretty much settled?

Elly De La Cruz has stolen four bases in 5 innings.

Can he get to 7 and tie the single game record?

It’s Ohtani, not some seldom used middle infielder, so, yeah, MLB made it disappear.

I didn’t realize the Dodgers started their B-lineup.

After their top 3 hitters tonight, it’s..

.246
.214
.191
.086
.148
.206

Get though Betts, Ohtani, and Freeman and you can toss rag arms until you see the T3 again.

Especially giving two of their other good hitters the night off..

I wonder if Ohtani had his new interpreter bet the Reds for him tonight?

De La Cruz with another single.

Will he steal 2nd & 3rd again and get to 6 SBs?

ETA: He tried and was finally caught.

Reds did this because Lodolo, who was scheduled to start, got hurt, and there was no one in the minors ready to come up and make the start, so they went the bullpen route.

Isn’t it always bullpen by committee? Wouldn’t this be starter by committee?
