While Drinking Your Juice In the Hood.

Haven't seen this movie in years, but apparently I have a channel called "Stars Encore Black" that's showing it.

Movie still cracks me up, especially the scenes w/ Shawn Wayans talking to his dad who's younger than him.

Drinking and Driving (youtube)

Then after that, he reads him some Letters to Penthouse type story and Pops starts whacking off under the cover.

It didn’t age very well, but I always thought this was under the radar hilarious.

I'm glad you made this thread. I shite you not I was about to start this thread about an hour or 2 ago but didn't think it'd get any love on this site and just decided I wouldn't waste my time.

IMO, this is one of the most underrated comedies of the 90s. It's even more enjoyable if you've been around the things they're making fun of.

It's essentially just 1.5 hours (or however long it is) of the Wayans brothers shitting on and making fun of the ridiculousness of the culture, but in a good, funny way. Such an underrated movie and everyone should watch it at least once in their life.

I use gifs and memes from this movie all the time.

How about Bernie Mac playing the cop?

In the sense, that it's parodying films from the time so it might translate less if you don't know those but it's still fricking hilarious if you know what it's working off.

I swear there's not a movie that you can use more gifs from. I think there's a gif from that movie that's available for any situation you may find yourself in online.

Yeah, I have no idea if it'd be as funny to someone who hadn't seen all the movies they're referencing, or been in high school for the rise of gangsta rap.

But unlike most of the "not another" parody movies that followed, it's just one fricking one-liner after another and never lets off the gas to pretend there's a story.

Parodies are always time and place.

So if you weren't there at that time or don't have a movie memory beyond what you saw last Tuesday it won't age well.

Of course, people won't get the references...that's why parodies hit big in their time and then next Gen, says, I don't get it, why is this funny?

Funniest films of the 1990’s….

Kingpin
Dumb and Dumber
Don’t Be A menace…

Put em in any order you want

Saw all of them at the theater

Menace might not have aged well, but it was insanely hilarious when it came out.

The scenes with his ‘Dad’ are frickin’ priceless

It's a great parody of Boyz N the Hood, father son relationship.

And first reuniting.

"Hey Pop, if I gotta do all these chores, what you gonna do?

" Shite, I don't gotta do nothing, my momma take care of me."

It's really more a satire than parody.
