A few of us on here like comedy. SNL is lame, but the season finale when they do this is still good stuff.

It sounded like there was more to the last joke but was either cut for time or Jost killed it

Yeah I happened to watch that one segment last night with the female Rabbi that kinda reminded me of John Cussack's high school teacher in Grosse Point Blank.

Anyways .... I didn't laugh.

ETA: ... and the Jake Gyllianthal (sp) segment about Southwest Airlines' shitty customer service made anyone who watched it exponentially dumber.

Yeah, you can’t just throw a rando on SNL. That’s rabbi with a SAG card, or at least she has one now.

That was great. I love these. And it’s obvious they are having a good time with it.

How can you not like this? Remember when we used to be able to tell jokes and laugh about it, even when it was non-pc?

You must have a highly refined sense of humor. What’s that like?

Not even at the Kendrick Lamar one?

That was funny

I usually enjoy this segment. But my problem with it is this:

It’s ironic that SNL, which leans heavily liberal obviously, thinks this is funny yet the same ideology wants to cancel someone like Shane Gillis for making “racist” Asian jokes.

Comedy is comedy. And comedy is often times racist, sexual, offensive, whatever. Picking and choosing what is acceptable and what isn’t is a slippery slope for comedy.

So while I do find it funny when Che and Jost trade jokes (most of which are racist and sexist), they should apply that same mentality when judging others and their comedy. It should all be kosher IMO.

ETA: I watched the clip and it definitely isn’t as funny as some I’ve seen previously. But it still was pretty good.

The joke swap thing these two do is usually just an excuse to tell shitty race jokes. Rarely is it actually amusing.

Usually the joke swap is the funniest thing they do each season but this one didn’t really do it for me

You didn't understand the Scarlett J joke? Michael made Colin say that his own wife's voice is worthless without her body, since he's married to her.

That’s not their best work. It’s usually the only part of the entire season I’ll watch

The liberal ideology in a nutshell: only the "approved" people can do certain things.

Pretty much every time I see these, at least a few of the jokes are pretty funny (can’t say that about anything else SNL does)

He’s a weird dude, but I think Michael Che is a funny guy in general

I hate both of them. Only watched the open and I noticed that they made Trump way more unlikable last night and injected a ton of nasty lies about him.

It was approaching the Alec Baldwin Trump.
