How would that even work? Even if we played someone on the SEC Champ week what about Bama’s opponent for the week that we play Ole Miss or Arkansas?

This would be a practical approach.

I guess bama-ark would be moved to the 12th

Mullen is such an enormous pussy that he’ll cry about uf not getting a bye before the SECCG so this will level the playing field

Why would they play the day of the SECCG?

Because that's the only date available for them to play. It's fairly obvious that both teams are out of the running to play in the SECCG barring almost impossible circumstances

Yep, Bama and Saban haven't forgotten last year and will be out to open a serious can of "WHUPP-AZZ" on the Tigers.

It won’t happen that way. Our entire team would opt out for that last game with nothing to play for.

The LSU-Ole Miss game should be played in Atlanta so Ole Miss fans can say they’ve been.

You always want to play the game for competition purposes if there is a way regardless of potential outcomes (that's why they play the game and why kids put in the work). Also, LSU and Bama have played yearly forever. Seems like more games are being affected now unfortunately.

That’s actually a really good idea. Ole Miss and LSU are already out of it

That idea makes perfect sense - but it won’t happen.
When did the SEC ever do anything that made sense?

I don’t think it’s a well kept secret anyway. But maybe gave too much info in op. Pretty sure SEC came out and said games may be played that weekend.

so how do they know that we won't be playing in the SEC Championship game that day.

Yeah, What if all the other SEC west teams were in a plane crash? Did they consider that?
