Went to the grocery store today and purchased ground chuck for making chili. On a foolish whim, I purchased a box of Wick Fowler's Chili Mix. I mad it exactly to the box instructions and it was awful. I began altering it with additions (Chili powder, cumin, oregano, chocolate, garlic powder, salt, black pepper). In other words, the things I normally use. Eventually it was more like what I like, but still a waste of time, effort, and good ground beef.

Oh well, one meal among thousands.

Hot & Sour Dumpling soup

Lots of mushrooms and bok choy, and it turned out both hearty/filling and somehow light at the same time.

Made a noodle bowl with random noodles I’ve had lying around. Forgot to add the peanuts I chopped.

Chicken marinade recipe was great though.

Not the biggest strip fan but found these at Rouses, labeled as prime, for $9.99 a lb. Grilled, with baked potatoes and bread. They weren’t bad. :)
