I like it. This will motivate him and he will live in the weight room. Good luck to the young man.

Exactly. Some people won't understand this, but he will work harder when he thinks of it, that one bench more, that once squat more, when the arm and leg muscles are so weak and weary they feel like rubber and it feels like they will fall off, he will think of this and push harder. And that attitude will infect others. Good luck and God bless Kardell, give them HELL!!!

Recruit rankings should not mean anything to him now. He’s a signed, sealed and delivered member of the LSU Tigers now. You make you name with what you do next, not what happened in the past.

Agree, but Kardell has great pride. If this further motivates him to tirelessly dedicate himself to strength and conditioning, the playbook, that’s a good thing. All the great ones carry a chip on their shoulders and it never goes away.

I love KT's attitude. I always have, since the onset of his recruitment. He's immensely gifted and talented, and very humble yet driven. He's going to be a monster for us, you can just feel it. This kid will be a leader and a difference maker.

Unpopular opinion but I think all of the popularity got to his head his senior year and effort wasn't there in the post season all American practices. It's all part of the process though, critique and self evaluation is something he will have to go through.

You know, you may have a good point, it's probably better he went through this now rather than during his college career

I think if Moffitt had gotten a hold of him a year ago, he'd be ready to start or be in the two-deep at OG in 2019.

I think he'll need a year or so and possibly a redshirt now. I expect him to be just as big a beast as we all hoped...may just take a little more time.

The best possible outcome is if Kardell redshirts because that means we had many other guys step up in front of him. I don’t look for him to redshirt however.
