Can LSU do the almost impossible and get a series win against A&M?

Would be a huge step in the right direction of making Hoover and possibly a Regional invite.

no. next question.

Honestly, the real question is: How much better would LSU be if we could have convinced Montgomery to come play in BR?

Why are people so fixated on this?

He followed his travel ball coach to A&M.

I'm not saying LSU dropped the ball on his recruitment, but people are fixated on this because we went after him hard and he would have been a difference maker.

Almost every off season there is a topic like “what if Saban never left.” It’s just another topic of discussion. Settle down P

This isn't the offseason.

And this topic is about as relevant as "What if Skenes and Crews stuck around for one more year?"

Would love to at least get 1 of 3. A sweep would really hurt our chances

1 playler doesn't make a team. We have way too many issues w/ this team for one good batter to fix

It wouldn't even be that big of an upset. It's baseball. It's at home. It's not even like there's a huge talent gap between the two teams. Just because A&M has won 8 more games in a 21 game span doesn't actually mean very much for either team's chances of winning this series. Imagine if 2 MLB teams had an 8 game difference in wins over a 21 game span (out of 162) and people acted like the team with the worse record had no chance of beating the team with the better record.

7 of our SEC losses have been by 1 or 2 runs.

Yes, it's baseball. Margins are thin but it can be done.

Gage continues to shove and we get good Luke (no hit Tennessee through 5 Luke).

Anyone who says impossible don't know ball. It is likely? No, of course not. Will I be happy if we simply. avoid a sweep? Yes.

But I have a feeling the boys will be ready to go. The Box will be packed.. gotta start fast and give the home fans something to cheer about.

If Jump pitches like he has last two weeks they can win
If Holman pitches at his ceiling they can win
Who knows with Game 3 and whether or not Jay's decisions work or backfire

I would sit Kling this weekend and use him for late inning defense or to pinch run
Only problem with that is A&M has a lot of left handed pitching to neutralize Brown, Larson and Pearson so you might see more of Bingham and Kling or maybe Frey
it also turns around Milam which I think he's better at hitting left handed
