Lebron and AD can’t play all 5 positions and the bench. Denver is far and away the better overall team

I mean LA had halftime leads in all 5 games. If they had the depth Denver has it’s a completely different series

The Lakers have the best player in basketball,

LeBron hasn’t been a top 5 player for 6-7 years at this point. Hell he hasn’t even been a top 10 player since before Covid.

He's still quite good but he's past his prime. Hell I'm no fan of the dude but he's 39.

how the hell do they keep gettiig hammered in the first round.

Well they made the conference Finals last year and last time lost in First Round was 2021 and pretty much played that Series without AD [still went 6 games]. That Suns team went on to make Finals that year, so I wouldn't say that's awful First Round loss without AD.

Because he’s a fraud. Doesn’t have a killer instinct. Chokes big time. Is 95% hype.

This alone will help you completely understand what LeBron is.

Kobe / LeBron

Glad I could help.

Two words:

Anthony Davis

Also LeBron is pushing 40.

Shitting on Lebron the day after he’s eliminated

I wasn't shitting on Lebron James. He is the greatest basketball player of all time and it isn't close. I was shitting on the Lakers' management and coach.

Kobe / LeBron

yet Lebron's clutch stats are way better than Kobes.

so is Kobe's killer instinct him being able to miss shots in the final minute?

all this proves is that you base your opinion on who has killer instinct based on what they SAY rather than what they DO

quote:

James is 10-for-25 (40 percent) in the playoffs on shots attempted when tied or trailing by two points or fewer in the final 24 seconds. Bryant was 7-for-28 (25 percent). James is 12-for-23 (52 percent) on playoff game-tying or go-ahead field goals with less than 10 seconds left. Bryant was 5-for-22 (23 percent). James has made five buzzer-beating game-winners in his playoff career. Bryant made one.

The rest of that quote should be ...not disappearing in the fourth quarter, or not losing interest and disappering once they get behind. Something like that. Guy is a hell of a ball player, but damn it seems like he's a front runner to me.

Quing James cannot carry a team anymore. At his peak, there was none better, but he’s not there anymore

He's not just pushing 40, he's played 68,000 minutes on a professional basketball court.

Only a handful of players have surpassed 50,000.

There's a lot of mileage on those tires.

I know it's en vogue to hate the guy but it's pretty crazy that at this point in his career he is averaging 36 minutes and posting 25 - 8 - 8 every night and upping those numbers in high pressure games.

The greatest to ever do it. The man is an engineering marvel. A genetic freak of nature who wasn't just blessed with dynamic physical abilities but the basketball IQ to overwhelm the game in every aspect of it. Still, the greatest comparison on the planet to show how dominant he is in all areas of the game.

King James:

40K points, 11K assists, 11K rebounds.

Any other NBA great:

10K points, 10K assists, 10K rebounds, it never happened even once by anyone else.

If he was the greatest player he would have more than 4 titles in 21 seasons.

He's obviously a very good player that lacked a killer instinct for most of his career and prevented him from winning more championships.

(See missed wide open 3 against the Nuggets in Game 2, missed 3 against the Spurs in 2013 (Ray Allen bailed him out), missed shots against the Warriors at the end of Game 7 in 2016 (Kyrie bailed him out), abysmal series against Dallas in 2011, etc.

Baloney. Bill Russell has 11 championships. Robert Horry has 7. Such a silly measuring stick.

Bill Russell played a long time ago. Robert Horry wasn't a superstar player.

Championships matter in the modern era. He will stay stuck at 4 and will stay behind Jordan.
