Clark Kent wore glasses and not even Lois Lane recognized him as Superman. Are you telling me a simple pair of eyeglasses is the greatest disguise of all time?

Someone please explain how this could happen.

He also flew through the air. I wouldn’t think about this too hard.

And in the movie Superman only used his X-Ray vision to check out her lungs because Louis Lane was a smoker.

How much more obvious could it be he was Clark Kent?

Henry Cavill has an interview where he did this in New York. Said he was only approached once or twice while wearing glasses.

I am more curious who looked up in the air, saw Superman, and thought it was a bird.

I’ve heard this explained before.

It’s psychological. Clark Kent is meek and mild-mannered, and people just took that at face value. They never looked deeper than that.

True story. Wore glasses all through elementary and middle school. On 8th grade basketball team and wore glasses to practice. Caught an elbow and smashed them.

Next few days at school started getting attention from girls who thought I was a new kid.

He wore those so Lois couldn't tell where his eyes were focused. Remember, he had x-ray vision.

Superman was designed to entertain kids. Don't think too hard about it.
