I spent a total of $73 at five garage sales.

Everything I bought except a chair

$20 - the chair. Store display. It’s taller than my truck

$1 pair - Merrell’s and Doc’s

$1 - Gilley’s buckle

$1 - Barry White album

$1 each

$1 each - video games

IYKYK

$7 - sterling silver

$1 each - Funko’s

$1 each - Skylander

$1 each - How to Train Your Dragon

$1 - Lego SW ship

After a quick search of a few items, my big hits will be the NCAA Football game ($50-$75), Dragons (~$20 each), and the Lego set if complete ($100-$150)

I thought about you the other day and how it’s been a while since I’ve seen a thread like this.

Also haven’t gotten any texts about albums you’ve found lately.

Very nice! My son would be all over those Funko's.

The lego phantom is extremely desirable. If it came with the Thrawn minifig, it’s a couple hundred.

I think that's being extraordinarily optimistic

Yup, you lucky SOB. This is the first time in a year I haven’t wondered “why does he waste his time with all that junk”

What?

NCAA sells for $75 all day long. I paid $1. I’d take $50 right now.

The Dragons sell for about $20 each, a couple of them even higher. I’d take $80 for the eight right now.

The Lego sells for $175 with no box, complete. I’d let it go for $125 right now.

I have a total of $10 in these 10 items

I will never understand how Funko Pops became a thing. They are hunks of rubber with no function.

I usually don't judge people for their hobbies but I do judge grown men that collect Funk Pops

I know I've given you grief about bragging on your flips, but I do enjoy seeing the random shite you find.

Some OT'ers don't (or don't want to) seem to understand what you're doing. "It's junk." "You're too optimistic." You're buying it on the cheap and you seem to always get a solid return on your money (and often, a more than solid return).

I think you have a good deal going - you seem to enjoy what you are doing and you are making some money.

Are you thinking of Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth? It's another big country club...

I have never before heard of Funkos. But I get an image of somebody about to spend the rest of his or her life dusting THE collection.

NCAA14 sells for a lot. It’s the last NCAA football game. It still has tons of players and people update the rosters.

Now that will probably all change later this year when EA releases the new NCAA game, but for the last 10 years the price of the game has been crazy high.

NCAA Football game ($50-$75)
Maybe a year or 2 ago. Now with the new NCAA Football coming out this summer, used copies of NCAA 14 aren’t gonna be worth anything

It took me about an hour and a half, but it’s built. It’s missing 2 pieces (on landing gear)
