Link to Bill. See paragraph 5

This is a (the?) bill that could make Christian’s choose between between Christ and having your head cut off for not taking the mark of the best?

Sounds ok now because frick those protestors.

But eventually…..

Oh. You think the Jewish people killed Christ? That’s the most radical thing I’ve ever heard. Take this mark denouncing that or you will get executed.

This is anti christ on paper.

this is freaky freaky looking at it biblically. Or, I should say absolutely awesome.

Absolutely the Jews are terrified that they will lose their protected status. Nobody wants to clarify if Jews are a race, or are they a religion, because they currently enjoy the benefit of both under current legislation. What other entity is also a race AND a religion?

Antisemitism just like the word racism has lost all meaning it’s been thrown around and used to much. Virtually meaningless. It’s ok not to support, like, worship, or even care about Israel.

You can join a religion.

Race, not so much yet, but Rachel Dolezal says hi.

I appreciate your response. And I sure agree with regarding if everything is X then nothing is X.

I’m called to support Israel. Not blindly, but I would not cut ties. We will eventually I guess. Bible says so.

The quickly pushed bill through the house is the first lawor bill I can remember that really made me pull out the Bible and look.

This bill (I’m sure senate and sleepy will approve and sign) is stunning.

First amendment falls: 5/1/24 feels like April fools instead of May Day

Second under attack and it’s scary to see the first amendment just evaporate in a number of hours by “our” law makers.

Things are about to get out of hand. In ways we have only talked about hypothetically.

Be prepared in every way. But MOST important, seek Christ. He’s waiting. And it’s easy. You don’t have to sacrifice animals. You don’t have to jihad and suicide yourself. You just have know Christ died for you and will save you if you repent and follow His teachings and follow in His walk.

Keep your eyes up! Your redemption is near.

Quit with the biblical prophecy fear mongering. There is literally zero connection to biblical Judea and modern day Israel. European Jews did not inhabit that region during biblical times. The geographic boundaries and region were completely different. The people who lived in biblical Judea and the people who live in Israel now are two totally separate and different groups of people that have virtually nothing in common. Also, Israel falling or being destroyed has zero meaning or significance to the future of the United States. It’s quite the opposite Israel’s existence depends heavily upon the United States Treasury and Military and without those two things would end up a pile of rubble. Trying to use religion or biblical references to tie the United States to Israel is for gullible evangelicals that can’t understand the first part of this post which is biblical Judea does not equal modern day Israel.

I thought the original Jews dispersed out to Europe and other areas during the Islam reign in Judea? Then after WW2 the Zionists convinced everyone they should be able to go back "home"

Not trying to argue, would love to learn more about it.

The support and response to this bill (Which isn't even a big deal but that's for another discussion) has the weirdest groupings.

quote:

Original co-sponsors of the legislation included Reps. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.), Max Miller (R-Ohio), Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.), Thomas Kean Jr. (R-N.J.), Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.), Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), David Kustoff (R-Tenn.), Donald Norcross (D-N.J.) and Shontel Brown (D-Ohio).

And those opposed include Gaetz, Nadler, Boebert, Delia Ramirez , and I'm sure the 2 Muslims in the Squad

The signals can't virtue enough

I don’t think there’s a politician in existence who I disagree with on literally every position more than Ted Lieu.

Cool, hook ‘em.

You follow what you think you need to follow. I don’t recommend creating your own story to match what you want.

God made a covenant with Abraham giving him the land of Israel. I would like for you to show me where God broke the covenant or that I’m just making this up.

You can believe in the Bible or you don’t. I can’t control your hard heart.

I do, and I’m going to go with Genesis 12:1-3.

It sure seems like our country was the strongest and most blessed in the world when we secured Israel for the Jewish people as was prophesied. And it lasted for a long long time. Some say we lost favor on 6/17/1963. And the way the sixties went, hard to argue against.

You do you big boy. There’s no scare tactics here. Every Christian should be absolutely ecstatic for their redemption.

It’s written. It has been for a very long time.

I’ll pray for your hard sad heart.

We aren’t scared. We already won.

*edit because I accidentally double quoted

Why don’t you think it’s a big deal? If nothing else, it reads that the first amendment just melted.
