When the leader of your nation is willing to take care of Ukraine and Israel, but not your own border, and 50% of the population will support him because Trump "is a meanie" or "isn't Presidential", the country you live in is doomed.

Trump gave away trillions to grifters and people who had no need for it, gifting up to 4 million dollars to businesses, starting a chain that inevitably led to inflation wiping out millions of people's savings.
Why the hell should I trade one guy who spends like a drunken soldier in a whorehouse for another? Especially as you say one who in general acts like a 13 year old girl when someone says anything even slightly detrimental to him?
Here's a thought, put up a better candidate and maybe 50% will change their minds, but don't rely on people to change their vote based on fiscal responsibility when your candidate is just as bad on the subject.
