We have four years of both as president for comparison. What is the point of a debate? If you don't have enough information at this point to make an informed decision on who is better at the job, you probably should not be voting in the first place.

If the debate looks like it is Trump on trial part 8, it is just going to help Trump's case. If those moderators don't ask Biden tough questions about immigration or inflation, people will see it for what it is. Poll after poll is showing that people think all these trials are a witch hunt, and the media will not be able to spin a crooked debate in a good way.

Dana Bash and Jake Tapper will make Candy Crowley's attacks on Romney look like a pushover. This will not go well for Trump. I hope he gets in some jabs though. But you will not be satisfied with the outcome. And Trump is so anxious to do campaign things he will do anything to go face to face. And then cry rigged debate when it is over. I'd bet CNN will give Joe's team the questions in advance. Tapper and Bash are probably already pre-approved by the Biden team. Trump needs to come up with some tricks to trip him up.

Trump is desperate for non trial press. For that reason he will do exactly what the Biden camp wants. If he doesn't they don't debate. And considering how CNN has treated Trump, how do you think this will go well for him? It's not that he's trying to get your vote. He has it already. It's all those other fuzzy people he is trying to sway. I am not inclined in the least to watch it. And I've pulled the lever for Trump four times already. So don't give me RonBot crap.

He would be totally fine if he did that, but he won't. Tapper and Bash will wind him up so they can portray him as a loose cannon that wants to overthrow the government and destroy democracy.
