I agree about Cole. I hate that move but interested in Nunes to see how he fits in. We definitely have a much different team than last season.

It’s a good price, but I disagree. When he has had a shot, he’s shown some class. City need someone to make up for the goals that Mahrez and Gundo would have scored.

I’m not happy with the move
Especially to Chelsea
Although now we have a better track record of the young guys we sell becoming journeymen and not hitting so those moves have been good value plays (think Brahim Diaz)

He scored goals in cups. I'm not saying he's bad or anything but for what I've seen 45m is nuts. He may go to Chelsea and light it up but so far Pep and Txiki have been pretty solid on transfers both in and out.
We needed him for depth but if what Sam Lee is reporting is true, he wanted guaranteed time. You're not gonna get that as an unproven player in a Pep team.
I'm curious to see how we roll this season. Gonna be pretty weird without Gundo and Mahrez with KDB out so long. I think Foden can kill it in the KDB role. Kovacic won't be as direct or as much of a threat as Gundo so Jack really needs to start taking shots. Same with Doku or whoever we throw on the right. Mahrez, god love him, was never afraid to take a chance.

Loss deserved. Lineup sucked. We miss Kevin, Bilva, Stones and really miss Gundo. Letting Gundo walk suuuuckkked.

If being rational; not having generational talents like KDB and Rodri on the pitch isn’t without consequences. Plus Bernardo and Stones? It’s a problem.
Lots of new faces and Pep needs time to develop them. There’s a bigger step down in quality from first team to second team than we’ve seen in a bit.
Losing Zinny, Sterling, Mahrez, LaPorte, Kompany, Silva, Ferandinho, Gundo and Aguero in the past two years is a huge hit. Credit to City for making some great signings. The Defense is honestly pretty stellar right now.
Not sold on Nunes, Gomez, Phillips, Doku yet.
They’ll bounce back. Pep will make it happen.
