It’s smazing that we still have a shot at top half of the league. I hope we come out focused these next two games. ...

You were probably one of the posters complaining that we wouldn't pony up enough to get Barrow or Williams....even though they aren't significantly better options. ...
What does Jay Johnson bring to the table?
A championship…last season. I get that this season has been disappointing. But he’s getting another year, likely more. If he built last year’s team (and he did), then he can do it again.
I’m wondering if the prolonged season last year ...

re: It’s interference. With visual evidence and the rule
That would be a joke of an interference call.
It actually wouldn’t. We’ve seen runners get called for being much closer to the baseline as recently as last year. I can’t remember which game….Wake Forest? Might’ve been one on the Florida games. ...

In that park? It’s kind of like that one guy with the mullet that lives in a run-down trailer with 5 broken vehicles in his yard and the only pos that runs has expensive rims. ...

Heis presence seemed to settle the pitching down. I wonder if there’s something there…...
re: I wouldn’t mind seeing LSU switch to Demarini

We used Marucci last year and our bats were kinda decent....
re: This game is on Jay Johnson….
He basically sacrificed this one to take the first two and the series.
And thats a big win in the scope of the season. ...
The big 10 is nothing but Stone Age offenses, so being a spot starter at Wisconsin doesn’t make you a can’t miss prospect
And yet people are melting because we wouldn't severely overpay for another Big 10 or a Big 12 DT. Yall need to make up yalls minds. ...
If someone really did offer 2 million then I’m glad LSU is out of it because that’s ridiculous. The Texas A&M dlineman that went to ole Miss would be understandable if he got that but not either of these two. That’s ridiculous. A lot of Vet pros don’t even get that and have actually proven th...

Capt has never shied away from the notion that he isn't a true "insider". It has long been established, by himself, that he uses multiple resources, including social media to gather info amd share it here. He'...

Great outing by Little! That performance by him really sets our pitching up well for the remainder of the weekend! ...
re: NIL allows for unlimited roster sizes
Posted by Sir Fury on 4/25/24 at 10:04 am
Even if a school can convince a kid to take a large bag in lieu of a scholarship, which is VERY doubtful, isn’t there a roster limit? You can’t just have “unlimited” players. Besides, players want to play…and sooner, than later. Coaches may want to load up on players and stack the bench. But it’s p...
re: Updated SEC Offensive Stats:
Posted by Sir Fury on 4/21/24 at 5:20 pm
I wonder if Larson can handle the lead-off spot. He has a high OBS, which is what you want early. But he can also hit, which is important since that lead-off spot statistically sees more at-bats than any other slot....

I think Jump is a better overall pitcher. But Herring has been really good AND more consistent. ...

You just named 2/3 of your starting lineup and your 3 most impactful pitchers, 2 of which were your starters.
I think the issue is pretty easy to see.
It's not that we don't nece...
