Newborn baby doesn’t really help with getting in shape. Having a baby is probably one of the hardest things to navigate with a woman that you have dedicated your life with, let alone an instagram thing. I wish him well but this is not good. I thought he was better than this...

You could try being a Landman (Oil & Gas). I've worked with many former teachers in this field. Experience is a plus, but it's a job that can be taught while working. One downside is most landmen are "Self-Employed" unless you work in house with an Oil Company....

Do they also own the surface rights? I ask because if they don't own the surface and there is no production for ten years from the date the minerals were reserved, the minerals will revert to the current surface owner....
