July, August and September BIG gaudy hoppers with a dropper. Terrestrials will be thick and the fish will be looking for big grass hoppers. The bite is incredible and about as much fun as one can have with their britches on.
Had to quote this for extreme accuracy. Hopper season is ...
I have thought Pinedale, Cody, or Sheridan/Buffalo would be nice to live. Do those places suck too?
Have you ever been to those places during anytime outside of summer? Do you like snow, extreme wind, black ice and freezing cold from early Sept through late May? If so, more p...
I see several people say Wyoming. I wonder how many have been to places other than Yellowstone/Jackson. Wyoming, outside of those 2 areas is absolutely miserable. I-80 is a straight killer (if open) and severe winds never stop. If I never go back to Wyoming, I would be more than happy....
I’m a hot food nut and that has been challenging here
Hottest food in the area is chicken. They have Houston Hot Chicken (which is from Vegas and not Houston) and they go up to 2million scofields. Then there is Pretty Bird downtown. Best selection of hot sauce is Grove Market an...
Fly fishing spots would be awesome. Not what what canyon riding
Runoff is just beginning, but last 1/2 of June, be on the Duchesne River in Hanna UT for the green drake hatch. Of course if you want to fish late spring caddis and PMD hatches, the Weber river just downstream of Rockp...
