Although conveniently located, Bridgeside is a cluster frick during the summer. I wouldn't leave anything on a boat that's not permanently secured.

What type of brakes does your trailer have installed? Surge, or electric over hydraulic? EOH provides excellent stopping power and control.
What axle ratio do you have?
I wouldn't sweat towing to Pensacola with a half ton truck with your current load, especially with air bags and a 6.2L V8. ...

The new Diawa Tanacom 1200 is what we recently purchased to replace our older Tanacom 1000's.
The new reels offer 1100 yds of 80 lb. braid, 30% faster retrieval from previous model, and 20% more power. Diawa also moved the motor and gearing inside the spool itself. Hard to beat for $799.
