LSU wide receiver Khai Prean is reportedly entering the NCAA transfer portal after one season with the Tigers. He entered with a "no-contact" tag.

The Belle Rose, La. native redshirted this past season and did not appear in any games.

Prean was one of the top players in Louisiana for the Class of 2023 and signed with LSU over Auburn, Mississippi State, and Florida State.

Prean is the second LSU player to enter the transfer portal this spring, along with freshman edge rusher Jaxson Howard.

It's hard to stack a team with talented players in this new era. Guys who want to play early and move on to the NFL will transfer. He probably feels unappreciated and thinks the coaches are idiots for not promoting him as a Heisman candidate in 2024.

BK essentially told him to leave when he kept publicly repeating that LSU has "seven guys" who can compete at WR, and he specified that Shelton Sampson was the seventh guy.

Athlete, 6', 190 to 200 lbs. I would have tried him at RB since the WR room is loaded. Hate to see him go. Good player and caught a TD in the spring game. Going to Auburn is the word.
