Looks like 2023 has two of his former players rated in the top 150, both 4 stars TE and CB. Ranked 3 & 4 in the state

He went straight from playing in the NFL, to a high school head coach, to an NFL assistant. He obviously impresses a lot of people quickly. I’m assuming House got him mainly for recruiting

Ha, I feel similarly.
I’m pretty much at the point to where I am happy that any coach that was on Orgeron‘s staff for more than a year or two is no longer here.
Hate it that a couple of those coaches were LSU legacies, but Orgeron fricked $hit up so bad that he tainted those guys in the process, IMO.

I’m neither happy nor upset with Cooks or Steeples. It’s an incomplete grade at this point. It’s an interesting decision to cut loose one of the best DB coaches in the country in Raymond and hire Cooks and Steeples as his replacements. It could work, or it could end up like some of Ed’s hires. Let’s hope Kelly is as smart as he seems.
