re: I'm 55 and plan on living past 90. Do you think I'll ever see a NC LSU basketball team?

Interested to find out the logic on this take.

Serious question? How in the next few years? Each year is a new team. This year's team isn't winning a natty without post and shooters.

So you are saying they can make a final four but couldn't win 2 more games??

Thats such a dumb assertion to make

There is no logic to that take.

His logic is that we’ve been to the final four before and never won

That’s it.

I think WW can lead LSU to a NC although history is against us in that endeavor. WW is 39 and I think he can win one here in the next 7-9 years. Maybe I will even be alive for that.

If WW can make it past whatever that meeting is that is supposed to have happened a year ago but still has not.....then yes.

If he stays at LSU for another 10 years, I’d say we have a decent enough chance

You're in luck. My crystal ball tells me the 2057 National Championship is ours.

It's possible - tough because we have a new team each year and it will take all the right elements. There's a bit of magic to that...

I think that he meant to say that the Final 4 is the goal and the NC would be an extra.

We could do it. Florida did it 2 years in a row and also advanced to the national title game one time before that. Auburn would have won it all 3 years ago had it not been for a 28-3 level implosion. Not to mention we’ve been very close before as well. Anything can happen in the tournament.

Of course it’s possible and Wade is way ahead of any expectations that were there when he was hired 5 years ago. Loyola Chicago made the final 4 a few years back, UCLA was a play in team and came within a couple of bad calls from making the title game last season. There’s no reason to think we can’t get there with Wade.

We have to remember that Wade is still growing and learning. If we can keep him here, he will win a NC.

He also has a coach to learn from in Mulkey
