I have my 10 yr anniversary coming up and we currently Have a reservation for Miss River.

What would be some recommendations for something different that or is that place really good?

Would prefer a nicer place since it’s a big milestone.

I recommend Brigsten's in the Riverbend area. It's not far off the intersection of Carrollton and St. Charles Ave.

Great food and quaint atmosphere as it is a residential house converted to a restaurant.

Really good - Clancy’s but parking is horrible

N7. You’ll think you’re in a little French village

10 years

Congrats

I think location is important

If downtown, I think you have some good suggestions in above posts-

Uptown- I mean clancys is kind of a big deal. That’s why parking is tough.
Another thought is gautreaus or what about commanders? Ever been? It’s certainly celebration worthy

I like lillete too.

Just my 2cents

Patois. Right down the street from Clancy's. And parking is not that bad.

Downtown I like Tommy's for upscale Italian and of course Emeril's right across the street.

Gautreau's used to be great for an occasion like this. I haven't been since before covid though so I don't know how it's doing these days.

Brigtsen's is a good restaurant, but I wouldn't recommend it for a special anniversary dinner.

Just ate at Miss River. Food was very good. Prices were elevated (especially the wine) but we could have gotten away ordering half the dishes and would still have been plenty full.

Highlights were crab au gratin, ribeye with mushrooms, baked Alaska. Had more but those three things were the best version I've ever eaten.
